Lindsay Taylor from the RSPB came to the P3 classes to help them learn how to look after the birds in winter. The children made fat balls, learnt to identify common birds and got ready for the BIG Garden Birdwatch this weekend. Everyone got messy, learnt lots and had fun!

P3 have been learning about Remembrance and the symbol of the poppy. The children have been learning with their families and friends in our community. Mrs Burgher showed us how to knit poppies. Mr McKinnon told us about his service in the army. Mr Budge spoke to us about his interest in war history His sister, Mrs Adams helped us make a poppy display for the Royal British Legion. Hannah's mum came in to tell us about their family's involvement in WW1 and WW2. We have learned so much. Thank you for helping us with this project William's dad visited 3E and talked about life in the trenches. He organises trips to France with K.G.S. pupils.
